Aura Holistic Skincare was born from the belief that caring for your skin begins with listening to its wisdom, tending to it with intention, and working in harmony with nature. We believe the skin has an innate intelligence and resilience. Rather than overwhelming it with complicated routines or constantly asking it to do more, we seek to support its natural functions—honoring the skin barrier, nurturing the microbiome, and creating the conditions for skin to thrive. We speak the language we believe skin understands best through thoughtfully selected, naturally derived botanical skincare chosen for its quality, efficacy, and harmony with the skin. Our treatments are bespoke, apothecary-inspired rituals that bring together exceptional botanical formulations with time-honored techniques including intentional facial massage, Gua Sha, buccal massage, and lymphatic drainage support. Slow, sensory, nervous-system-supportive practices invite the body to soften, while purposeful touch encourages circulation, connection, and restoration. We see skincare as an act of devotion. A way of tending to yourself with presence and reverence. A daily ritual that asks you to slow down, listen inward, and honor your body rather than correct it. Because we are not separate from nature, and neither is our skin. We believe in honoring the whole body in relationship with the rhythms of the natural world, creating skincare rituals that feel intuitive, sustainable, and deeply nourishing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
By booking an appointment you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Please take a moment to review. We understand that life happens, and we truly appreciate that circumstances can occasionally change unexpectedly. To honor the time of our practitioners and ensure we can continue providing exceptional care to our clients, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled the calendar day before your scheduled service will be charged 50% of the service total which will be credited to your account to be used toward a future appointment. Appointments canceled on the same calendar day as your scheduled service will be charged 50% of the service total. This fee will not be credited toward a future appointment. Clients who fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice will be charged 100% of the reserved service. As a small, independently owned business, our appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. When an appointment is canceled at the last minute, we often are unable to offer that time to another client, which directly impacts our practitioners and our ability to support our team and families. These policies allow us to protect the time and livelihood of the people who make our studio possible. We also believe in grace and understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances arise. Exceptions may be made at our discretion for true emergencies or extraordinary circumstances. We are always happy to have a conversation when something unexpected occurs. Late Arrivals & Grace Period We offer a 15-minute grace period for appointments lasting 75 minutes or longer. We understand that occasionally unexpected circumstances can cause a delay, and we will always do our best to accommodate you within the remaining time available. Because some of our services are brief, arriving more than 5–10 minutes late may significantly impact our ability to provide the full service as intended. For shorter appointments, if you arrive too late for us to complete the service while maintaining the quality and experience we promise, the appointment may be considered a same-day cancellation and the full service fee will apply. We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment so you have time to settle in and we can make the most of your reserved time together. I’m Alex, Holistic Esthetician and founder of Aura. For me, being an esthetician has always been about so much more than skin. I care deeply about creating a space where people feel at home. Where they can slow down, exhale, and feel genuinely held. My approach to skin health is simple. I believe in the natural resilience of our skin and bodies, and in supporting those processes rather than fighting against them with quick fixes that ultimately lead to long term dysfunction. My facials are thoughtful and intuitive, shaped by what your skin needs in the moment and guided by intentional touch, botanical skincare, and a deep respect for the body’s own wisdom. Aura is my way of creating the kind of sacred space I believe we all deserve.

With over a decade of experience as a licensed esthetician and Ayurveda body therapist, it is my goal to provide a sanctuary of rest and relaxation. I'm looking forward to helping you slow down, breathe deeper, and nurture your skin.
